Price Operations
Increase by Percentage
Perfect for across-the-board price increases. Enter 10 to increase all prices by 10%.
Decrease by Percentage
Great for sales. Enter 20 for a 20% discount across selected products.
Increase by Amount
Add a fixed amount to every price. Enter 5 to add $5 to each product.
Decrease by Amount
Subtract a fixed amount from every price.
Set to Amount
Set all selected products to the same price.
Round Prices
Round prices to nice numbers (e.g., $19.99 or $20.00).
Previewing Changes
Always preview before applying:
- Configure your price operation
- Click Preview
- Review the before/after comparison
- Look for any unexpected results
The preview shows you exactly what will change, including products with variants that have different prices.
Compare-At Prices
To show a sale price with strikethrough:
- First, copy current prices to compare-at prices
- Then decrease the regular prices by your discount percentage
This creates the "Was $X, Now $Y" display in your store.
Automatic Backups
Every bulk price operation creates an automatic backup. To restore:
- Go to Tools → Backup Manager
- Find your price backup by date/time
- Select the products to restore
- Click Restore
Best Practices
- Always preview before applying
- Start with a small selection to test
- Use filters to ensure you're editing the right products
- Check the backup was created before making more changes
